Canal 13 Chile’s distribution unit, 13Sudmedia, is presenting a diverse portfolio of scripted and factual content at MIPCOM 2025, highlighting its focus on high-impact drama and socially relevant documentaries.
The reality portfolio is led by Opposite Worlds (Mundos Opuestos, 130 x 90′), a co-production with Cooking Media and Latina Televisión. The show centers on a unique competition where two teams face an epic battle to determine their living conditions: the winners enjoy a future marked by comfort, while the losers endure a past defined by scarcity and hardship. The setting is a house divided by a massive interactive glass wall, creating two opposing realities.

The distributor also highlights several travel and adventure documentary series. Partners around the world (Socios por el Mundo, 38 x 75′) follows Chilean celebrities Jorge Zabaleta and Pancho Saavedra across three seasons. Their journey includes exploring the Mediterranean, India, Thailand, Japan, Uganda, Australia, and the Philippines, balancing adventure with the pursuit of comfort. Similarly, There’s always a Chilean (Siempre hay un chileno, 82 x 60′) documents Chilean travelers sharing their experiences living in dynamic cities worldwide, offering insights into local history, culture, and cuisine. The Clan (El Clan, 10 x 60′) features Pangal Andrade and his family traveling through stunning Chilean landscapes, showcasing traditions and challenges centered on deep family bonds.
The distributor’s scripted portfolio is led by Secretos de Familia (Family Secrets) (142 x 45′), which is nominated for Best Telenovela at the 2025 Rose D’or Latinos Awards. Produced by Canal 13 Chile and AGTV, the series follows Elena Valdés, whose life changes upon her return to Chile after 15 years in Spain when her only sister, Sara, commits a mysterious suicide. Suspecting homicide, Elena begins a frantic search for the culprit, dredging up her powerful family’s dark past.
In the scripted and feature film genre, 13Sudmedia is offering the drama No One (El Fantasma, 1 x 115 min.). Set in 2006 during an era of capitalist fever in Chile, the film follows Jose, a former bank employee who forms a famous bank robbery gang after failing in the system. His rise to media star status is complicated by Daniel, an experienced policeman determined to take the game to its ultimate conclusion.
