9 Story and Future Today presents Scholastic app

9 Story Media Group, a producer and distributor of children’s content, announced the launch of the first streaming app from the Scholastic brand, developed in collaboration with Future Today. The ad-supported service is now available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV and will expand to more platforms, positioning itself as a safe and reliable destination for families to enjoy classic Scholastic programming on demand.

Designed for children ages 2 to 12, the app brings together more than 400 hours of premium content from Scholastic‘s iconic library. Featured titles include Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Magic School Bus, Nightmares/Goosebumps, The Babysitters Club, Animorphs, and Clifford the Big Red Dog: The Movie, as well as 9 Story classics such as Garfield and Barney & Friends.

The launch is part of Scholastic‘s global strategy to expand access to its children’s catalog, following its strategic investment in 9 Story last year. The new AVOD app builds on the success of Scholastic’s digital releases of its favorites on multiple platforms.

For Future Today, which already collaborates with brands such as LEGO and Moonbug, the partnership strengthens its presence in the children’s segment. ‘The Scholastic brand is trusted by families around the world’ said Elianne Friend, vice president of 9 Story.
