Eccho Rights to launch presales for new Turkish drama

International distributor Eccho Rights will handle global sales for The Hatmaker (Şapkacı Kadınlar), a highly anticipated new drama series from prominent Turkish production company O3 Medya. The series will be officially presented to international buyers for presales at the upcoming MIPCOM market, ahead of its scheduled premiere in Turkey in early 2027.

Billed as a gripping period drama, The Hatmaker is headlined by acclaimed actors Pınar Deniz and Selahattin Paşalı. The series follows the story of Ayşe, a war veteran striving to carve out her independence, while the husband who abandoned her returns to threaten everything she is working to build.

“Pınar Deniz and Selahattin Paşalı are two of the most fascinating actors in Turkey today, and seeing them together leading such an ambitious story is truly exciting. Created and written by Necati Şahin, The Hatmaker is directed by Ömür Atay and produced by Suzan Sümeli for O3 Medya. The robust 60-episode, 45-minute series is being made available to the international market as both a finished drama and a scripted format.
