#StandWithUkraine: top programming offer at MIPTV

The Ukrainian-Russian conflict is in every single talk at MIPTV. Some distributors were worried about the consequences of the events and decided to attend the show at the last minute. Most importantly, RX France organized a #StandWithUkraine with 5 companies offering 50 show, including series, movies, entertainment and documentaries.

The joint stand at MIPTV named #StandWithUkraine aims to showcase the talent of its media industry. Five companies, two public and three private, managed to fly to Cannes andare promoting 10 titles each.

Ukraine is having one of the biggest presentations in a market place ever. Since the Russian invasion, the local media and entertainment industry has united to bring five companies to the show: FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, 1+1 Media, Ukraine TV Channel and the Suspilne (a Public Broadcasting company label) are offering 50 productions.

FILM.UA Group is launching films like Call Sign “Banderas” and U311, the series Love In Chains and The Sniffer, as well as future projects as Potion and Roxelana. Starlight Media, the series A House for Happiness, Cardamom Co. and Early Birds, as well as the films MH17. Years of Lies and Novorossiya: The Cost of the Project and the factual show New Leaders. 1+1 Media, the series Big Hope, Romeo and Julietfrom Cherkasy and Ukraine: The Return of the Nation’s History; the entertainment shows Blind Wedding and The World Inside Out, and the miniseries Lion’s Heart.

Ukraine TV Channel is promoting series like Bodyguard for Children, Kovalchuck the Heart Doctor, Secrets, The Call,Toptun, Dream Hunter, while Suspilne a combination of series, A Strong Woman, Let’s Go to the Museum, Portal of Adventures, and films like Grandma, Please Tell Us About the Holodomor, Living on the Volcano and Maidan.
