Catherine Gluckstein, VP and Chief Product Officer, Xbox Cloud Gaming confirmed the news, and underlined: ‘We aim to create a gaming community where they can play the games they want, with whomever they want, and on the devices they already own. We want to remove as many barriers as possible to give you more ways to connect and play’.

‘We are working in many ways to achieve this. One of them is through Xbox Cloud Gaming, which allows you to play console titles on phones, tablets, PCs and more devices through the cloud. Launching in 2020, we’ve continually iterated on the cloud gaming experience based on community feedback, added amazing content, and reached more places. We now announced that we are continuing to expand by bringing the service to New Zealand and Argentina’.

‘We’ve heard feedback from our players in both territories that access to Xbox Cloud Gaming is a priority. The Beta version is already available so they can start exploring the amazing worlds of Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and Tunic directly from the cloud with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership on devices. iOS, Android phones and tablets, Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles’.

Fans in New Zealand and Argentina can play Fortnite, subscription free. ‘Similarly, we remind you that we have more than 100 titles with tactical controls, so don’t wait any longer and start playing without controls. All of them are available for you to play from the cloud on the devices you already have, without the need to download them or use the storage of your devices’, added Gluckstein.
