Tesera Entertainment has announced a slew of new TV movies for MIPCOM.  The company presents a lineup formed by high-quality genre movies, primarily in the holiday, thriller and romance categories.

At MIPCOM, Tesera has unveiled two thrillers and two more Christmas movies, produced for major US Networks, for global licensing.  First, premiering on Lifetime in the US, one of the most anticipated films of the year is THE GABBY PETITO STORY, starring Skyler Samuels, Evan Hall and Thora Birch.  Intended to bring awareness to domestic violence andas part of Lifetime’s “Stop Violence Against Women” initiative, the movie is based on the travel blogger’s complicated relationship with her fiancé and the cross-country trip that resulted in her tragic murder.  

The company also brings another Lifetime Original movie to the market called KILLER DESIGN, which tells the story of an up-and-coming interior designer who hires a young woman as an assistantthat saved her life, only to discover that the incident was far from random.  The film stars Jackée Harry, Sarah Armstrong and Chelsea Gilson.

On the holiday front, Tesera brings the new Hallmark Original movie, A COZY CHRISTMAS INN, starring Jodie Sweetin, David O’Donnell and Vivica A. Fox, which tells the story of a real estate agent who discovers an inn she is trying to acquire is owned by her ex.  While there, she finds herself falling in love with the town and quite possibly reigniting this past relationship.  And finally, for GAC Family in the US comes A ROYAL CHRISTMAS ON ICE, that follows a once-Olympic hopeful ice skater that meets a prince and falls in love when he visits her charming town.  The movie stars Anna Marie Dobbins, Jonathan Stoddard and William Baldwin.
