GMA Network (Philippines) through its Worldwide Division is promoting its latest dramas at ATF 2022. Maria Clara and Ibarra it’s one of the titles on its slate, the series was a success on its signal that received an average of 15.1 % in the people’s rating based on the AGB Nielsen Philippines TAM ratings data.
The fantasy drama Maria Clara and Ibarra (50×45’), it’s a series that tells the story of Klay, a young woman who is excited to graduate from the university so she can work abroad. However, she must pass her back subject, Rizal Studies, in order to graduate. Klay wakes up one morning and finds herself in the world of Jose Rizal’s novel, Noli Me Tangere. She desperately tries to return to the present but she can only do so after she finishes the story and learns her lesson. She meets the characters in the Novel, Maria Clara, and Crisostomo Ibarra.
Also the romantic series Luv Is: Caught in His Arms (20×45’), which follows Florence, a young woman who works as a cook in the household of the Ferrels, a wealthy and affluent family. Don Ferrel’s five young grandsons, Aldous, Troy, Owen, Tristan, and Nero, are notoriously mischievous towards the household staff. But Florence’s quirky personality and relentless optimism will win the Ferrel boys’ approval. Soon after, Florence captures the attention of Tristan and Nero, and they develop feelings for her. As their lives unfold, the answer to who will win her heart may tear a family apart.
