As one of the largest independent UK TV distributors, Cineflix attends to Cannes for MIPTV 2023, where the company highlights the dramedy Good Morning Chuck.
Good Morning Chuck it’s a coproduction with St-Laurent and Connect3 for Crave (Canada) that follows Chuck, the host of the morning show, who finds himself on the front page of all the newspapers and gossip magazines after a scandal involving his drug and alcohol addiction erupts. The series is co-directed and co-written by Jean-François Rivard (Happily Married), Sarianne Cormier (Les Vestiges), and Patrick Dupuis (Punch Club).
In addition, the seasonal slate includes Tempting Fortune, a factual show format produced by Voltage TV for Channel 4 (UK) and Roku (USA). The program presents twelve strangers who are dropped in the heart of a vast, remote wilderness with an epic cash prize awaiting them… and a journey unlike any other. To keep the money, all they have to do is reach a designated finish line some 18-days trekking away—without spending it. But that will be easier said than done.
