Kanal D makes a difference with «Farewell Letter»

With global sales reaching 10,231 hours of content in 2022, Kanal D International participates in the CEE market to showcase its line-up in this region. Seasonal highlights are That Girl and Farewell Letter, a melodrama that recently premiered in Turkey.

The first of the titles that KDI presents is That Girl, which tells the story of Zeynep, a young woman who dreams of being an influencer on social networks to escape her poor life. As she tries to achieve her dream, she also has to be a ‘mother’ to her father, a 45-year-old man who has the mind and emotions of a 5-year-old. Zeynep dreams big and tries to get away from her problems, in her little room. While she works cleaning the house of the influencer Ozan, one day she meets the businesswoman Sitare, owner of an agency and head of several influencers on social networks.

Also Farewell letter, with a plot that combines two of the company’s classic narrative elements: love and family. The series begins with Ziya and Alanur, who were about to get married, but the young Ziya suddenly disappears.

The third title that introduces is Three Sisters, a series based on İclal Aydın’s best-selling novel, which takes place in the late 90s, and tells the story of three sisters named Türkan, Dönüş and Derya, who face harsh reality of life and dream of a bright future.

Finally, the company stands out in the market with Veda Mektubu, its new acquisition starring the stars Rabia Soytürk and Nurgül Yeşilçay. Produced by Most Production and Gül Oğuz, it tells a story based on true events. The series is directed by Deniz Çelebi Dikilitaş and the script is written by Deniz Akçay. In addition to its impressive cast, Veda Mektubu is a moving story that surely will captivate fans around the world.
