All3Media International brings to MIPCOM 2024 a diverse array of content, including scripted dramas, formats, and true crime series. One of its highlights this season is the crime drama Critical Incident.
Critical Incident, is a contemporary crime drama inspired by the real-life experiences of creator Sarah Bassiuoni and produce by award-winning team of Matchbox Pictures. The story follows Senior Constable Zilficar Ahmed, whose pursuit of a teenage suspect leads to the accidental injury of a bystander. Struggling with guilt and pressure from an investigation, Zil becomes obsessed with pinning the incident on the teenager, Dalia.
On the reality side, The Anonymous, created by Studio Lambert, merges elements of face-to-face gameplay with anonymous communication. This format challenges players to form alliances and navigate the blurred lines between their real and online personas. The show has already seen success in the U.S. and is expected to attract interest from international buyers.
For true crime enthusiasts, FBI True offers a gripping look into infamous cases handled by FBI agents, such as the Boston Marathon bombing and the Waco Massacre. Produced by Bright North Studios, this series provides first-hand accounts from agents involved in the cases. All3Media is also promoting PD True, which features American police officers recounting their most compelling investigations.
In the scripted drama category, Dead and Buried is a psychological thriller that follows Cathy, played by Annabel Scholey, as she embarks on a revenge-driven journey after encountering the man who murdered her brother two decades earlier. The series was produced by Three Rivers Fiction and Vico Films.
And, already adapted in Spain, Angela Black, originally produced by Two Brothers Pictures, is a psychological thriller centered on domestic abuse and manipulation. The series explores the unraveling of Angela’s life after a private investigator reveals her husband’s dark secrets.
