Audiovisual from Spain offered its classic lunch at the Producers Hub in the Palais during the penultimate day of MIPCOM 2023. The organization supports around 40 companies for this edition, of which the largest have their own stand, such as RTVE, The Mediapro Studio, Movistar Play+, DEAPlaneta, Euskal Telebista and Catalán Film, the rest were distributed in the huge pavilion within the organization.
The big announcements of the week involved RTVE, who launched two FAST channels, the first dedicated to their hit Cuéntame cómo Pasó¸ and RTVE Docs, available on their VOD RTVE Play. The first channel will broadcast all the episodes of the teleserye, since the first one aired in 2001. While the second will have a large program of its own documentaries.
Meanwhile, the second big news corresponds to the co-production between RTVE, Plano a Plano, together with Prime Video and Telekom Srbija, who will adapt the best-selling novel Cicatriz by Spanish writer Juan Gómez-Jurado.
