Onza, hot topics for the international market

As European markets kick off, Onza Distribution is making a strong showing with a clear strategy: to expand the international reach of its productions. Erika Gómez, the company’s Head of Sales, highlighted the event’s key role in positioning the catalog of Portugal’s TVI in new territories.
The season’s standout title is Give You My Life, an adaptation of the Mexican hit Te Doy la Vida. “TVI bought the rights and developed the format; we’re already seeing a lot of interest in the market,” explained Gómez. The story, centered on a family fighting for their son’s health, promises to replicate the emotional impact of its original version.
Joining this lineup is Terra Forte, a thriller marked by revenge and assassination attempts, in line with the narrative style that has established TVI’s reputation outside Portugal.
In short series, Onza celebrates the run of Atasco, which will premiere its fourth season in June and is already planning new international adaptations. The catalog is rounded out by Vulnerables, a socially conscious production that addresses mental health in young people, bringing urgent issues such as suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders to the forefront.
