With 24 offices distributed around the globe, there is no doubt that The Mediapro Studio is one of the most active companies in the audiovisual aspect. In ATF, they are boosting their most recent titles: Primate, Las Pelotaris 1926, o Las Bravas
The company just recently participated in a very successful MIPCOM, where they announced new accords, among them: Express, that will be seen in Japan after being acquired by AXN Japan, operator who also made with the emission rights for this country for Las Bravas & Cromosoma 21; also The Head added a new market to its international journey after being acquired by Canal+ in Czech Republic & Slovaquia, apart from HOT, the cable TV leader in Israel and that now will also be available in the balcanic peninsula through PICKBOX. While the series Nasdrovia Will be launched in the USA in the operator FLIX Latino, and Las Pelotaris 1926 takes over the north of Europe and it will be seen in the public finnish chain YLE and in the operator Latvian TET, among others.
Especially at ATF, the company’s distribution unit is also showcasing El Internado Las Cumbres, the Vota Juan saga, multi-award-winning films like El buen patrón and Competencia oficial; docuseries such as Six Dreams, Fernando or MotoGP Unlimited, and entertainment programs that have made an impact during prime time in Spain like El Conquistador, El Intermedio, La Resistencia, Zapeando, or El musical de tu vida, among many others.
‘2024 is shaping up to be a year full of challenges, with numerous productions already underway. We bid farewell to 2023 with two of our most important releases, the series Romancero, premiering on November 3 worldwide on Prime Video, and El otro lado, set to premiere on November 23 on Movistar Plus+,’ said Ezpeleta.
Additionally, it was revealed that in 2024, other titles will join which are expected to be among the best of next year’s fiction, such as Mano de hierro on Netflix; the new season of The Head, the series Consuelo, their next project in co-production with VIX, Cometierra, the new series created by Daniel Burman for Prime Video, currently in the filming stage; the feature films El 47, directed by Marcel Barrena starring Eduard Fernández, and the new film by British director Mike Leigh, shot in English, following STUDIO’s strategy to focus on the Anglo market. All these were announced in the previous edition of MIPCOM.
