FEG taps Liz Tang as VP of UK content and acquisitions

Fox Entertainment Global, the distribution arm of Fox Entertainment, has appointed Liz Tang as VP of UK Content and Acquisitions. Based in London, the exec will manage content for the distribution division’s UK-based, owned, and affiliated production entities. She will also be responsible for acquiring scripted and unscripted programming from third-party producers for the company’s global distribution slate.
Tang joins the company from Fifth Season, where she served as executive director of acquisitions since 2022, leading a global team that sourced, acquired, and financed premium projects. She initially joined Fifth Season in 2020 when it was operating as Endeavor.
Her background includes extensive experience as a buyer and in programming, having worked at companies such as Sky, BBC Studios, Paramount-owned Channel 5, and Discovery Networks International. In these previous roles, Tang managed the licensing and acquisition of thousands of hours of content for both major networks and new platform launches globally. She began her career in 2010 at Viacom (now Paramount), holding scheduling, programming, and acquisitions positions with MTV Networks and EPIX in London and New York.Prentiss Fraser, president of Fox Entertainment Global, commented on the appointment: ‘Liz is an accomplished and well-loved content executive with deep relationships across the industry and an exceptional eye for commercially and creatively compelling programming’. Fraser added that Tang‘s experience across the production community, acquisitions, and programming will be ‘invaluable in supporting Fox’s expanding slate’.
