OGM Universe, the distribution arm of OGM Pictures, entered the global market in 2022 with a clear objective: to centralize and distribute Turkish drama series internationally. The company is participating at MIPCOM 2024, where is showcasing its ambition to connect with international buyers through its extensive catalog that includes a wide variety of dramas, many of which have already gained traction on platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
One of the prominent titles is Six of Us (Sahipsizler), a drama that follows six siblings who, after losing their parents in a violent attack, struggle to survive in Istanbul. The series, directed by Cem Karcı, focuses on resilience and family bonds as the siblings rely on each other to navigate a dangerous new reality. Another standout is Dilemma (Düğüm), a gripping thriller where a renowned journalist must choose between uncovering the truth or protecting her son, who stands accused of murder. The show, that is set to stream on Amazon Prime, explores the moral dilemmas of justice and motherhood.
OGM‘s The Tailor (Terzi) is also part of the lineup, weaving a complex tale of love, betrayal, and dark secrets set against the vibrant backdrop of Istanbul. The series was already acquired by Netflix, and has already completed three seasons, cementing its success both locally and abroad. Also the romantic comedy When a Man Loves (Erkek Severse) and the historical fantasy Miracle of Love (Yüz Yıllık Mucize) round out the catalog, showcasing the diversity of OGM’s offerings, which range from romance to supernatural drama.
