Kanal D brings a strong lineup of dramas to MIP London 2025

At MIP London 2025, Kanal D International presents a lineup of drama series reflecting the evolving landscape of Turkish storytelling. The slate includes new productions and established titles, each offering a different perspective on family, sacrifice, and resilience.

The Family Burden (2024), produced by Süreç Film, follows Melike, who, after two decades of wrongful imprisonment, is released only to find herself entangled in another web of deception. Determined to reunite with her daughter, Hazal, she searches for the truth behind her husband’s murder while navigating the complex reality of her daughter’s life. The 95-episode drama airs on Kanal D in Turkey.

Secret of Pearls (2024), produced by BKM, tells the story of Azem, who takes the blame for his wife’s death to protect his daughter. Years later, after his release from prison, he embarks on a journey to find his adopted children, only to discover that time has changed everything. The drama is currently in production.

A Father’s Promise (2023), from Pastel Film, is set against the backdrop of the 1980s political turmoil. Mustafa is forced to leave his daughter in the care of a wealthy family to protect her. As he returns to reunite with her, he faces new dangers and challenges that test love and survival. The 67-episode series airs on Kanal D in Turkey.

Daylight (2023), produced by D Media, follows Gece, a young woman whose aspirations of studying music in Istanbul are derailed when her family relocates to Foça to support her special-needs sister. The 45-episode drama explores the impact of responsibility and unforeseen changes.

Farewell Letter (2023), a Most Production drama, revolves around Alanur, whose life takes an unexpected turn after three decades of dependence on Ziya. Meanwhile, their children, Aslı and Mehmet, struggle with love and family opposition, as past secrets resurface. The series runs for 76 episodes.

Three Sisters (2023), based on İclal Aydın’s bestselling novel, tells the story of Türkan, Dönüş, and Derya, who grew up in a close-knit family in Ayvalık. As they transition into adulthood, they confront hidden truths and painful realities, questioning whether time can truly heal all wounds. Produced by Süreç Film, the drama spans 277 episodes.

That Girl (2022), from Content House, follows Zeynep, who dreams of becoming a social media influencer to escape poverty while caring for her childlike father. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she begins working for influencer Ozan, crossing paths with businesswoman Sitare. The 79-episode series originally aired on Kanal D.
