A+E Networks Global Media, which produces nearly 2,000 hours of original content annually across a broad range of genres, is attending MIPCOM 2025 with a diverse content slate for international distribution. The company, whose portfolio includes nearly 70,000 assets worldwide, is represented at the market by executives including President of Global Content Sales & International, Steve MacDonald, and Group Managing Director – International, Patrick Vien.
The network’s strategy involves leveraging its strength in history, crime, and reality to reach a wide global audience. The lineup for the market features several high-profile factual and procedural series.

In the history genre, the series WWII with Tom Hanks (20×60) stands out, offering a comprehensive view of the war through new scholarship and rarely seen archive footage. It tackles pivotal moments and the human experience from a global perspective. Complementing this is the special Life After People (1×120), a documentary that uses expert knowledge from various fields to predict how Earth would look in the distant future after humanity’s disappearance. A lighter historical offering is Hazardous History with Henry Winkler (8×60), which looks back at the dangerous toys and playground antics of past generations.
The slate also includes several titles focused on investigations and crime. Secrets Declassified with David Duchovny (10×60) features the actor investigating government secrets, black ops, and deadly cover-ups using evidence from newly declassified files. The procedural drama Homicide Squad New Orleans (15×60) follows a dedicated team of native detectives in the New Orleans Police Department as they work to reclaim their community.
Reality and competition formats also feature prominently. Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out (20×60) follows Dr. Sandra Lee as she expands her dermatology practice, with the new season incorporating intimate, self-shot footage of her life outside the office. The series The Chrisleys: Back to Reality (8×60) promises to expose the «raw truth» of the Chrisley family’s lives. For long-running reality, the extensive 12-season, 152-episode library of Ice Road Truckers remains available. A competition format, Top Dog, is also being offered for international adaptation, featuring teams of dogs and owners completing obstacle courses that test speed, agility, and teamwork.
