Universal Cinergia continues worldwide expansion

U.S.- based production and post-production leader Universal Cinergia has recently opened its sixth international facility in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, expanding its capacity and offering services to companies from all parts of the world interested in expanding to additional markets.

Interviewed by Prensario, Liliam Hernandez, President & CEO, stressed that the Covid 19 pandemic has not affected the expansion process started years ago: ‘The company has expanded and in the past few years, even with the pandemic and all the obstacles presented, we managed to keep going and even expand. We have presented our new Rio de Janeiro studios to the industry last August with a cocktail party for clients, partners, press and collaborators’.

In addition, Hernandez and Gema Lopez are visiting United Kingdom and European clients in France, Turkey, Sweden, while VP of Sales Elisa Aquino is also in Europe visiting other clients on a Sales Outreach Tour working on Business Development, to increase the company’s global footprint.

Regarding the evolution of the dubbing and services companies after the Covid-19 situation, its adaptation to the new situation and the strategies implemented: ‘Remote recording was implemented during the pandemic, and it helped us stay in contact with our clients. We actually didn’t really stop during the lockdown, but rather we adapted and found ways to continue providing the service to our clients. The key is to find the balance between remote recording and in-person, so that production schedules can be kept on track and on time’

Regarding the additional expansion achieved by the new Universal Cinergia facilities in Brazil: ‘As mentioned above, we have just opened our 6^th worldwide facility in Rio de Janeiro, with spectacular studios housed in a 4-story building in Barra da Tijuca. We are very happy with this expansion. Our production capacity for Brazilian Portuguese has grown and both our facilities in Brazil (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) and working at full speed’.

Regarding the prospects for the company on its tenth anniversary, ‘We are staying true to our commitment of continuing to provide quality work and impeccable customer service. We are accomplishing our dream day by day and will continue to offer high-quality dubbing to our clients.
