RTVE: «Ena» buscará conquistar América Latina

RTVE llega a MIPCancun 2024 después de una destacada participación en MIPCOM Cannes el mes pasado, donde la compañía destacó en el marco del evento, donde España fue el país de honor de la edición.

En el mercado latino se presenta con una variada oferta de series y documentales entre sus producciones más recientes. Entre los títulos destacados se encuentra Ena, un drama histórico que mostró sus primeras imágenes en Cannes el pasado 21 de octubre. La serie narra la vida de la joven inglesa que se convierte en reina de España. Producida por BKM y en coproducción con Ena La Serie AIE, La Cometa TV y Zona App, la serie de seis episodios se centra en los desafíos de la reina Victoria Eugenia mientras enfrenta dos guerras mundiales, una guerra civil y la pandemia de gripe española.

Otra de las grandes producciones de RTVE es Las Abogadas, que retrata la vida de cuatro abogadas pioneras: Lola González, Cristina Almeida, Paca Sauquillo y Manuela Carmena, en los últimos años de la dictadura de Franco. Esta serie, coproducida con Mod Producciones, explora sus esfuerzos por abrirse paso en una época política turbulenta, desde 1969 hasta la masacre de Atocha en 1977.

En el género de thriller policial, Asuntos Internos cuenta la historia de Clara, una de las primeras mujeres policías de España. Ambientada en el Madrid de los años setenta, la serie muestra su participación en el desmantelamiento de una red de tráfico de heroína. Esta producción es una colaboración entre RTVE y Mediacrest.

RTVE también presenta un documental de suspenso con Columbus’ ADN COLÓN. SU VERDADERO ORIGEN, un especial de 90 minutos que investiga el ADN de Cristóbal Colón. Realizado en colaboración con Story Producciones y la Universidad de Granada, el documental busca revelar el verdadero origen del famoso explorador.

ENA tells the story of a young Englishwoman who becomes the Queen of Spain, renouncing everything to live in a foreign land where she faces an attempt on her wedding day. Never fully accepted, she perseveres as queen, witnessing two world wars, a civil war, and the deadly Spanish flu.

LAS ABOGADAS

Series based on real events that tells the story of the lawyers Lola González, Cristina Almeida, Paca Sauquillo and Manuela Carmena. Friends and labor lawyers since 1969, during the last stage of Franco’s regime until the massacre of the Atocha lawyers in 1977 during the government of Adolfo Suárez.

An ideal place for many Madrileños whose pockets can afford the luxury of enjoying its excellence. But there are others who barely make ends meet and who spend more time than anyone else in the distinguished tea room: its employees. Dressed in their uniforms, serve the clientele smiling and without talking too much. These are the protagonists of this story.
