«Valley of Hearts» leads Inter Medya’s offering in the Asian market

Inter Medya arrives at ATF with a selection of dramas that focus on family themes and emotional conflicts, reinforcing its commitment to connecting with audiences worldwide. One of the highlights of its catalog is Valley of Hearts, which premiered at MIPCOM in Cannes and was also showcased at MIP Cancun, past month.

The series tells the story of Sumru, a woman who abandoned her twins and now leads a comfortable life in Cappadocia. The plot thickens when her children, Nuh and Melek, discover her true identity and seek to confront her, triggering a series of events where love and revenge intertwine. In this family drama, Sumru’s past resurfaces, challenging her life decisions and their impact on future generations, set against a backdrop of forbidden love and dark secrets.

Another standout title is Deception, a drama centered on Güzide Yenersoy, a respected family court judge in Istanbul who appears to lead the perfect family life. However, the revelation of hidden secrets forces Güzide to reevaluate her entire existence as she confronts a reality built on lies. The series, with its second season already confirmed, continues to captivate audiences and strengthen Inter Medya’s position in the market thanks to its intense storytelling and complex characters.

Love and Pride is another key title in the company’s lineup at ATF. This production stems from a recent partnership with Chilean producer MGE and reflects Inter Medya’s growing interest in co-productions within Latin America. Directed by Murat Şenoy, the series revolves around a love story disrupted by love triangles and family conflicts, making it particularly appealing to Latin American audiences. Since its announcement at Content Americas earlier this year, it has generated significant anticipation and stands out in Inter Medya’s content agenda for the region.

Finally, Leylifer introduces a telenovela that marks Inter Medya’s first collaboration with Colombia’s Caracol TV. This series represents a classic melodrama, following the story of Meryem, a young Colombian woman whose life takes an unexpected turn during a trip to Istanbul when her husband mysteriously disappears. Filmed in Turkey and featuring a cast of both Latin and Turkish actors, the series is part of Inter Medya’s strategy to expand co-productions with international partners.
