LA Virtual Screening: which companies are screening the most?

LAVS 2021 Top 15 buying companies with more screenings

LA Virtual Screenings has shown record figures in attendees, but especially in the number of buyers screening at the platform. With close to 1200 buyers registered, organizer Prensario Internationaldescribed which companies are doing more screenings at the event.

Prensario analyzed the ranking of the top companies/countries doing screenings at LAVS 2021. With six days since the beginning of the show, a clear trend is noticed: TV channels from around the world are taking the lead followed by AVOD/Digital buyers and production companies.

Considering the first 20 companies, the majority of them are from Europe (almost 40%), followed by USA/Canada and, then, Latin America. Moreover, they are mostly TV groups such as TV Azteca (Mexico), Kanal 7 (Turkey) Mediaset (Italy), ProSiebenSat.1 (Germany), KAN (Israel), Antenna (Greece) and TBS (Japan).

There is a small but key group of digital buyers such as Samsung TV Plus (more information on the “Testimonials of the Weekend” article), NOS (Portugal) and Grey Juice Lab, as well as production companies like the Chinese Huawen Picture Group and Russian’s Vesna Production looking for projects to co-develop, co-finance and co-produce.

As it can be seen the diversity in territories countries, it is also reflected on the different type of companies being part of this year’s LA Virtual Screenings.
