Plim Plim: new languages and an ambitious series

Spiritum Entertainment is experiencing the best period in its history and is committed to establishing Plim Plim as one of the strongest children’s brands on the international market. At Annecy-MIFA 2026, Damián Soriano, the company’s VP of Content, highlighted the sustained growth of the phenomenon created in Argentina, which in the past year surpassed 19 billion views on YouTube and reached 45.5 million subscribers across all its channels.

This growth was not limited to the digital ecosystem. The expansion of music platforms, the licensing business, publishing sales, and theatrical activities drove a projected revenue that will double that of the previous year. Added to this are the commercial results achieved in partnership with Bandai in markets such as Mexico and Spain, as well as the brand’s recent launch on Netflix.

With an established presence in six languages, the company is now expanding into new territories with launches in Hindi, French, German, and Turkish, as well as the addition of new Shorts channels and an additional English-language channel. The strategy aims to strengthen the franchise’s global reach and deepen its connection with audiences across different regions.

One of Spiritum’s key announcements for this year is the production of a new Plim Plim series, considered the studio’s most ambitious project to date. The project consists of 26 seven-minute episodes and will address topics related to emotional education and social-emotional skills in today’s children, while maintaining the musical, humorous, and educational style that defines the franchise.

In addition, the studio is preparing for the premiere of Bumpy, The Bear on TVE, a co-production with Krakatoa that strengthens its position within the international animation industry.
