Calinos Entertainment, in partnership with Canadian production company Pixcom, has announced a strategic agreement with TF1 Group. The deal marks a significant milestone in the European expansion of high-quality international content, bringing the acclaimed series Indefensible and Alert Squad to French audiences.
Distributed globally by Calinos and produced by Pixcom—the award-winning independent producer of premium fiction in Canada—both titles will soon be available on the streaming platform TF1+.
Indefensible is currently the most-watched fiction series in Francophone Canada, reaching approximately 1.5 million daily viewers. The long-running legal drama follows the criminal defense team at the Lapointe-Macdonald firm as they navigate complex cases and moral dilemmas. Pixcom is currently producing its fifth season.
Also included in the agreement is Alert Squad, which consistently ranks among Canada’s top-rated series with nearly 1 million weekly viewers. Currently in production for its sixth season, the procedural focuses on a Missing Persons Special Unit handling high-stakes investigations alongside personal and professional challenges. Both series have received critical acclaim and multiple Gémeaux Awards, including Best Annual Drama Series, Best Daily Series, and Best Lead Actor in an Annual Drama Series.
