Asia’s Box Office Superstar Kathryn Bernardo and BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee Dolly de Leon are ready to showcase their electrifying performances of revenge seeker Philo and the filthy rich Mother Molly in Star Cinema’s 30th anniversary kick-off film, A Very Good Girl.
Showing in cinemas nationwide starting September 27 (Wednesday), A Very Good Girl follows the story of Philomena Angeles (Kathryn) who seeks to destroy fellow socialite and business tycoon, Mother Molly Suzara (Dolly). As Philo penetrates her way into the glamorous yet shady secret life of Mother Molly, her elaborate plan of revenge becomes more complicated than she anticipated.
The female-led film serves as Kathryn’s big theatrical comeback after the success of her 2019 box office hit, Hello, Love, Goodbye. As for the internationally-acclaimed actor Dolly de Leon, A Very Good Girl marks another milestone in her career as it is her first lead role and first ABS- CBN film.
Completing the stellar cast of A Very Good Girl are Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, Ana Abad Santos, Nour Hooshmand, Donna Cariaga, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero, and Angel Aquino.
