TAICCA has organized a substantial delegation for the Asia TV Forum & Market(ATF), which is taking place in Singapore until December 5. The Taiwan Pavilion features 92 companies presenting a catalog of over 260 titles, ranging from Golden Horse Award-winning films to trending television series, with a strategic focus on securing international co-productions and distribution deals.

TAICCA Chairperson Sue Wang described the delegation’s participation in ATF as a push to demonstrate Taiwan’s capacity for cross-border investment and creative collaboration. Also, TAICCA CEO Erica Wang is also present at the market to engage directly with global industry stakeholders. The agency aims to use the platform to facilitate licensing agreements and financial partnerships that integrate Taiwan into the broader global media landscape.
Film and scripted series highlights
The film slate is headlined by A Foggy Tale, a leading title at the 2025 Golden Horse Awards. The film secured 11 nominations and won four major categories, including Best Narrative Feature and Best Original Screenplay. Other key film titles include Dangling, marketed as Taiwan’s first high-rise disaster movie, and April, a drama exploring cultural connections between Taiwan and the Philippines through the narrative of a migrant worker.
In the television sector, the lineup features Bloody Smart, noted as Asia’s first live-action adaptation based on the works of horror author Junji Ito, starring Gigi Leung and Buffy Chen. The slate also includes Haunted House Secrets, a new series from The Bridge Curse director Lester Hsi, and The Accidental Influencer: Love Me If You Dare, the second season of a comedy franchise based on the influencer Red.
Unscripted formats and animation
Taiwan is also presenting a diverse range of unscripted content. Offerings include 4 Her Journey, a travel series following four actresses in their forties; Stellar Bites, a reality competition merging Taiwanese cuisine with fine dining; and Have a Pet Day, a format centering on celebrities and their animals.
On the animation front, the «Buyer’s Lunch: Taiwan Spotlight» returns after attracting over 200 professionals last year. This year’s session features project presentations from studios including Lusasa Animation, Xanthus Animation Studio, Flash Forward Entertainment, Brilliant Animation Studios, and True Fun Entertainment.
Pitch sessions and co-productions
Several Taiwanese projects have been selected for ATF’s specialized pitch events. Forbidden Land will participate in the EST N8 Horror Pitch, Republic of Casino is part of the SAAVA IP Accelerator, and The Life Changers has been selected for the Mediacorp Co-production Pitch.
Furthermore, on December 4, a press conference will detail Rail Life Story, an infotainment co-production between Taiwan Public Television Service (PTS) and Singapore’s Mediacorp. Additionally, the series A Controversial Entertainer, scheduled for 2026, will be featured during the KC Global Media Distribution Content Showcase.
