Founders Raimon Masllorens and Nèlida Sanchez will continue to spearhead Brutal Media‘s operations, ensuring continuity and fostering innovation within the local team. Under the terms of the agreement, Brutal Media will retain autonomy in developing and marketing its slate of original IP in Spain while also producing local adaptations of scripted and unscripted formats from the BBC Studios catalogue.
This landmark deal expands BBC Studios‘ production footprint to 12 markets worldwide, underscoring the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.
