Caracol expande sus historias hacia franquicias globales

Más allá de la distribución internacional tradicional, Caracol está redefiniendo su estrategia de contenidos con un enfoque 360°, donde las historias se transforman en franquicias globales con múltiples vías de explotación.

Así lo explicó Karen Juliao Macchia, del área de marketing de la compañía, al destacar el caso de La Reina del Flow, que dejó de ser solo una serie para convertirse en una marca de entretenimiento en expansión. “Estamos desarrollando conciertos en distintos países de América Latina y Europa; ya llevamos más de 30 fechas, muchas de ellas sold out o casi sold out”, señaló. El fenómeno también ha tenido dos presentaciones en Europa, consolidando su alcance internacional.

Este modelo se complementa con alianzas estratégicas, como la realizada con Disney, que permitió la aparición del personaje Pedro El Escamoso en la serie argentina El Encargado, protagonizada por Guillermo Francella. La participación, incluida en la nueva temporada actualmente en lanzamiento, busca ampliar la visibilidad del personaje y generar nuevas sinergias de promoción.

En paralelo, la compañía avanza en el desarrollo de microdramas con récord de visualizaciones, y en nuevas oportunidades de product placement, ampliando sus fuentes de ingresos y ofreciendo soluciones comerciales integradas a sus clientes.
