Caracol TV unveils new and returning dramas

Lisette Osorio, International Sales Director

At the June markets, Caracol TV is arriving with a portfolio of series that revisits some of the most deeply rooted genres in Latin American fiction tradition: revenge, political drama, and identity conflicts.

One of the main titles is the second season of La venganza de Analía (The Revenge of Analía), a series that continues to explore the boundaries between personal justice and political ambition. The story picks up the conflict between Analía and her father, Guillermo León Mejía, who, after being imprisoned, manages to get out of jail to once again run for the presidency of Colombia. The fiction is produced by CMO for Caracol TV.

Also highlighted is Nuevo Rico, Nuevo Pobre (New Rich, New Poor), a new version of the Colombian television classic. The story revisits the accidental exchange of two newborns in a hospital, whose destinies cross thirty years later when the truth comes to light.

Finally, Escupiré Sobre Sus Tumbas (I’ll Spit on Your Graves) stands out, a melodrama that combines crime, seduction, and settling scores.
