Cineflix blends crime drama and big factual

Scripted crime and premium factual lead 2026 showcase.

Cineflix Rights has revealed a broad, buyer-focused lineup for the London TV Screenings 2026, blending high-end scripted drama with ambitious factual storytelling. Leading the slate is Anna Pigeon, a USA Network procedural inspired by Nevada Barr’s novels and starring Tracy Spiridakos, following a park ranger solving crimes in remote national parks while confronting personal trauma.

Scripted highlights also include The Walsh Sisters, based on Marian Keyes’ novels for BBC One; Nordic crime drama Hildur; and darkly comic thriller Sunny Nights, directed by Trent O’Donnell and launching in the US on Hulu.

On the factual side, the slate spans spectacle, competition, history and true crime. Cirque Life goes behind the curtain of Cirque du Soleil, while Château DIY: Win the Dream adds a competitive twist to a proven format. Property pressure, wartime rail history, ocean mysteries, and endurance adventure headline further titles, alongside crime-led series including Kings of Coke and Confessions of a Killer. Returning hits such as Inside Taronga Zoo reinforce the distributor’s long-running brands.

CEO Tim Mutimer described the package as a showpiece of premium storytelling designed to attract international buyers, pairing recognizable IP with over 50 hours of new factual content — positioning Cineflix strongly for the 2026 market.
