The series will be available in Latin America, Canada, Australia and 5 countries/regions across Europe on Paramount+ and in Korea on TVING, CJ ENM’s streaming platform
Leading entertainment company CJ ENM (South Korea) and Paramount will be co-financing their first joint original series Yonder. The production will be available on CJ ENM streaming service TVING and Paramount+ this year in Latin America, Canada, and Australia, where the service is currently available, as well as in France, the UK, and GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), where the service will launch in 2022.
This announcement followed the strategic partnership between the two groups from December 2021 to bring premium entertainment to audiences worldwide with a comprehensive global deal. Yonder marks the first project under this partnership, which will be followed by Paramount plans to participate in the investment of seven TVING originals. Leveraging both companies’ global reach, production capabilities and hit-IP making pedigree, the groups will continue to create synergy across their streaming services and production studios for global audiences.
According to a spokesperson from TVING: ‘Our goal is to strengthen our network and partnerships that will set grounds for original content investment on a global level to strengthen TVING’s presence as the #1 K-content platform. We will be expanding our content library for our subscribers as well, as we plan to launch popular Paramount+ content on the platform on 1H’.

Set in 2032, Yonder is a story about a man who receives a message from his deceased wife inviting him to the unknown space called ‘Yonder,’ designed for the dead to be able to live on by uploading memories of their lifetime from their brain. The drama/science-fiction series raises questions about life and death and what it means to have eternal happiness as humanity comes face to face with a world created by advancements in science technology.
It is produced by Doodoong Pictures and CJ ENM, and directed by Lee Joon-ik (The King and The Clown, The Throne, DONGJU and The Portrait of A Poet. It marks marks the movie-hitmaker’s first series and OTT release. More original content from TVING will be made available for global audiences. In addition, it has annpunced its plan to expand its footprint in the global OTT market starting with Japan and Taiwan this year. It is also seeks to diversify its content genres stretching from scripted and unscripted originals to live sports broadcasting to bring all things for every fandom.
