The manufacturer of colored pencils and crayons Crayola, debuts in the children’s content market with its audiovisual development unit Crayola Studios, which was presented by Victoria Lozano, EVP Marketing, at MIPJunior 2023.
The enormous engagement that the company has into the children’s segment inspired it to promote this new business vertical. ‘The unit is made up of a powerful team of specialists in early childhood education, as well as our creative team’, expressed the exec.
In a conference at the Grand Theater, Lozano commented that its product and experience units perfectly complement the new content development vertical: ‘Like our products or experiences related to creativity and imagination, the study seeks to promote creativity and imagination in children, since it is one of the values that parents demand most and that the audience also needs to face today’s challenges’.
Crayola Studios is currently developing its slate and in full conversations with strong partners such as streamers, broadcasters, as well as creators and production companies. ‘We are in talks to develop several incredible stories with 9Story Media,’ Lozano concluded.
