The Association of Television Organizations (ATO) and Nielsen Admosphere announced the signing of an agreement to carry out cross-platform measurement of television audience in the Czech Republic for the years 2023-2027.
Reported on the news portal Broadband TV, according to Nielsen Admosphere, the structure of the project will reflect trends in media consumption in recent years, building on the previous successful period (2018-2022): clients will have data from measurements of viewing not only on television (which has been implemented for a long time). by people meters), but also on other platforms such as PC, laptop, smartphone or HbbTV and smart TVs. The consultant has been making this measurement for more than 20 years.
ATO executive Vlasta Roskotova said: ‘Nielsen Admosphere’s approach is a guarantee for us that the TV audience measurement project in the Czech Republic will not be ‘preserved’ in some way by signing the contract for the next five years, but will be continuously developed according to the latest trends and insights. It is already at a very high level in international comparison, which we definitely want to maintain and further develop.¿
