With new additions like political action-drama Amia, action drama Indal and new remake of the comedy Lalola, Dori Media Group attends MIPCOM, to shows its seasonal slate.
From the company assured that the demand for scripted formats is high, especially for high-end dramas. ‘In order to answer the demand in the past few years we increased the number of yearly productions. Currently, we are in different production stages of almost a dozen dramas’, commented a spokesperson.
The company is very active in production, with projects in Israel and LatAm, in various languages.
Almost 2 years ago Dori Media purchased the acclaimed production company Sumayoko and with that, today they have three studios: Dori Media Studios, Dori Media Studios Sumayoko and Dori Media International, responsible for the productions in Latam. This year they produced Lalola in Mexico and Amia in Uruguay.
Concerning distribution, commented: ‘2023 is a very good year for Dori Media. We sold different titles to different territories, including Power Couple, Shtisel, Normal, En Terapia, The New Black and many more’.
Also expressed that they are currently in different stages of negotiations for additional sales that will be released when are signed.
