Federation: strong, coproduced kids IPs

Headed by Co-Founder David Michel, Federation Kids & Family is a global kids’ content producer and distributor, and a division of Federation Entertainment, a leading media powerhouse specializing in high-end international programming. The division distributes premium original content featuring animated series and specials, as well as talent-driven live action drama series. Federation Kids and Family also focuses on building strategic partnerships and alliances with major entertainment companies and broadcasters.

At MIPTV the company is promoting Presto! School of magic (52x’11), a 2D Animation series targeted for kids 6-11 years old developed by TeamTO in co-production with Panache Productions and La Compagnie Cinématographique. It features a band of talented and curious kids who dream of becoming magicians.

Federation Kids & Teens continues to promote Find Me in Paris with three seasons (26x’26 each). This premium hit tween series featuring Jessica Lord, Castle Rock, Isabelle Allen and Jake Swift currently broadcast in +80 territories; it combines world-class ballet, modern dance, drama and comedy. 

Squish (52x’11) is another 2D animation (target demo 6 -11yrs) from Cottonwood Media and Planeta Junior. Based on the original books by New York Times best-selling authors Jennifer & Matthew Holm, it is about everyday school kids, their friendships, parents, and efforts to fit in, centring on the adventures of a twinkie-eating grade school amoeba.

The Ollie & Moon Show (78x’11) combines 2D with live action focused on upper preschool, from Cottonwood Media with S2 coproduced with O&M (Canada). Based on the best-selling books by author and illustrator Diane Kredensor, it is a slapstick comedy starring two animated cats who travel across the live-action world showing kids the joys of friendship, food and fun across the globe.

Last but not least, The Star of Andra And Tati (’26) is an edutainment TV special for kids/tween produced by Rai Ragazzi and Larcadarte in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (Miur). It tells the breath-taking true story of two sisters, Andra and Tatiana, who as children were deported to Auschwitz during World War II.
