Nuevos thrillers y dramas de Federation Studios en MIPCancun 2024

Federation Studios presenta en MIPCancun sus nuevas producciones en los géneros de drama, thriller y documental. El estudio, fundado por Pascal Breton y co-dirigido por Lionel Uzan y Marco Chimenz, continúa produciendo y distribuyendo una variedad de contenido dirigido al mercado global.

La compañía asiste al mercado MIP enfocado en América Latina para explorar nuevos negocios. Entre los títulos clave que se presentan se encuentra Sherlock & Daughter, un drama de época protagonizado por el nominado al Emmy y BAFTA, David Thewlis (Harry Potter, Fargo, The Sandman), como un envejecido Sherlock Holmes. Esta serie de ocho episodios explora las luchas del detective tanto en su vida personal como profesional, cuando se encuentra con una joven, Amelia, que afirma ser su hija. El programa es una producción original de CW en asociación con Discovery+ y ya ha sido adquirido por muchas cadenas de televisión alrededor del mundo.

También en la lista se encuentra Curfew, un thriller provocativo y aspiracional basado en un best-seller internacional de Jayne Cowie. Ambientada en un mundo donde los hombres tienen toque de queda de 7 p.m. a 7 a.m., la serie explora las consecuencias de un asesinato en esta sociedad distópica. Paramount+ es la cadena principal de transmisión para esta serie de seis episodios.
