Federation Studios leads eco-friendly production with new certifications

Federation Studios is demonstrating its commitment to promoting eco-friendly TV and film productions, with several of its projects recently receiving «Eco-Label» certifications. This effort is part of the company’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, which aims to foster a more sustainable production model.

Since the beginning of 2025, four of the company’s productions have been awarded the Ecoprod label1. These include French Lover for Netflix and episodes 4 and 5 of A case for kin for France Télévisions2

The feature film Family Price also received the certification. This brings the total number of certified productions for Federation Studios to 11, with an additional 6 currently in the process of being awarded the label. The Ecoprod Label recognizes audiovisual professionals who are dedicated to sustainable development and environmental responsibility. Federation Studios has been a member of the Ecoprod association since 2024.

The studio’s commitment to eco-production is further reinforced by the election of Axel Diverrez, CSR Manager at Federation Studios, to Ecoprod’s board. In addition to these certifications, six of the group’s productions have also earned the Responsible Production label from Flying Secoya since 2023. Flying Secoya is another company that supports and recognizes efforts in sustainable audiovisual production.Eco-production is a key component of Federation Studios’ global CSR strategy, which focuses on implementing a sustainable model across all phases of production, from development to distribution. This includes a roadmap, an annual CSR report, a first-ever carbon footprint assessment, and a forthcoming decarbonization pathway strategy. The company’s CSR approach also includes initiatives such as training programs on environmental challenges, as well as actions to promote equal opportunity and talent from diverse backgrounds.
