France 24 reports strong performance on YouTube 

France 24 has reported a strong performance on YouTube for the first half of 2025, with a notable surge in video views and new subscribers. The network confirmed its status as the leading French media outlet on the platform, driven by significant growth across all its language channels.

In June, France 24 registered 146 million video views on YouTube and an average viewing time of 7 minutes and 3 seconds, setting a new record for the channel. This performance reinforces the network’s dynamic growth since the start of the year.

Over the first six months of 2025, France 24 accumulated 749 million views, representing a 38.36% increase compared to the same period in 20243. The channel also gained 1.2 million new subscribers, a 22% rise.

The success was widespread across all of France 24‘s language channels, with particularly strong growth in:

  • Arabic: +101% views 
  • English: +51% views 
  • French: +25% views 
  • Spanish: +21% views 

The French state-owned network stated that this achievement ‘illustrates the benchmark character of the French international news channel, as well as the major role it plays in providing reliable, verified, and expert information worldwide’.
