The French distributor presented a showcase to buyers and the foreign press, with the presence of the director and screenwriter Noé Debré and the leading actor Xavier Lacaille. The series is a Cinétévé production, distributed by France tv, whose first two seasons can be seen in Spain through Filmin.

In addition to Spain, the series has also been sold to the Czech Republic, Sweden, Portugal, USA, Canada, Taiwan and Malaysia.

‘We are surprised with the success in America, since the story exposes the French point of view, because we feel that culturally we are very close and we feel that the show should talk to these audiences’, commented Debré.

France tv has good future expectations for the series, among them is to achieve sales in the UK and Italy, which although it is ‘curious’ for the director, why these sales have not materialized like in other regions of Europe , and that’s why he expects that this deals will encourage new buyers from these two countries.

At the event, when asked about the possibility of including representation from these territories to achieve sales, he replied: ‘we try not to think it in that way. It was surprising for us that we would sell the show to Spain before Italy because we have an important character from Italy and no one from Spain’, concluded.
