Global Content Leaders Gather at TCCF FORUM 2025 to Explore Strategies for a Changing Industry

The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) 2025, organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), will return to the Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2, 7F, from November 4 to 7, bringing together top executives, creators, and award-winning talent to discuss new strategies amid global market shifts.

Under the theme Evolve Beyond Imagination this year’s TCCF FORUM will feature 12 keynotes and panels across four days, with over 25 industry leaders from Taiwan and around the world sharing insights into emerging trends in film, television, animation, and digital content.

Global Vision and Asian Voices

Among the headline speakers is Janet Yang, Golden Globe-winning producer of The Joy Luck Club and Over the Moon, and the first Asian American President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Yang will deliver the closing keynote, focusing on the strategies and challenges of bringing Asian cinema to the global stage.

Other highlights include Sean Saeyoon Shim, CEO of Moving producer Mr. Romance, and Youngsun Soh, SVP and Managing Director of A+E Global Media Korea, who will discuss international investment and expansion strategies. From Southeast Asia, Le Thuy Trang (FPT Play, Vietnam), Komin Aoudomphan (True Digital Group, Thailand), and Roland Lee (Astro, Malaysia) will explore OTT platforms’ content acquisition models and their role in driving Asian productions across regional markets.

The forum will also welcome Jane Wu, Emmy-winning director of Netflix’s Blue Eye Samurai, who will share her journey from storyboard artist to international director and her experiences leading cross-cultural production teams. From Japan, screenwriter Omori Mika (Hitori de Shinitai, The Unfettered Shogun) joins producers Kurasai Ken and Uchida Yuki of NHK’s Anpan to discuss how Japanese creators balance historical narratives and dramatic storytelling to engage modern audiences.

Adding a local perspective, Ning Chang, Alice Ko, and Allison Lin, all nominees for Best Actress at the 2025 Golden Bell Awards, will appear together for the first time to discuss the evolving roles and opportunities for women in Taiwan’s creative industry.

TAICCA Chairperson Sue Wang emphasized that rapid technological and structural changes are reshaping the global audiovisual landscape. She noted that Taiwan’s openness to innovation and collaboration positions it as a key hub in the Asia-Pacific region, capable of connecting creative talent with global opportunities.
