Glowstar Media focuses on international growth

GlowStar Media, a production and international distribution company based in Argentina and the USA, is participating in MIPCOM 2024 with a focus on expanding its portfolio of fiction and non-fiction content. Under the leadership of Silvana D’Angelo, who brings over 25 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, the company has established itself through strategic partnerships with content creators, production companies, and platforms worldwide.

The company specializes in the representation, creative consulting, and commercial distribution of projects designed to meet the demands of a competitive global market. Among the company’s most notable successes is the adaptation of the Argentine format The Cleaning Lady by Warner Media Latin America and O3 Media in Turkey for Fox Turkey. Another highlight is Loli’s Luck, an Argentine original licensed to NBC/Universal Group and adapted by Telemundo Studios, which was nominated for Best Fiction at the International Emmy Awards in 2022.

The achievements of the company also extend into non-fiction, with the recent co-production of Bichero, a documentary series for Disney Group‘s NatGeo, supported by Greenpeace, and a set of comedy specials for Amazon featuring Argentine comedians. As well as, the production Sin Salida, in partnership with Vaso Entertainment y Aleph Media.
