GoQuest Media brings a diverse lineup to ATF

GoQuest Media returns to ATF 2024 with a varied catalog reflecting its strategic focus on both regional and international markets. The company has been active in distributing and acquiring content from Asia, as well as introducing titles from its global portfolio to local audiences.

Among the highlights is the Indonesian series Ratu Adil, distributed in partnership with Vidio, one of Indonesia’s largest VOD platforms. The series, featuring Dian Sastrowardoyo of Cigarette Girl fame, follows the journey of a housewife navigating the dangerous underworld of Jakarta’s 9 Dragons mafia.

The company’s broader catalog for ATF includes long-running dramas, limited series, and its co-production Kuma (The Other Wife). Already licensed in markets such as India, Romania, and Hungary, Kuma will be a key offering at this year’s event.

GoQuest’s partnerships have also expanded significantly. Earlier in 2024, the company began distributing Amuz Distribution’s titles across multiple regions, including Asia. Vivek Lath, managing director, emphasized the importance of collaboration in extending the reach of both companies’ catalogs, underscoring the demand for quality narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide.

Additionally, company’s efforts to adapt international content for regional audiences continue, with the Estonian drama Divorce in Peace and Lithuanian series Troll Farm optioned for remakes in India.

‘Our work in Asia over the past decade has involved partnerships with major players and an understanding of the diverse programming needs in the region’, Lath noted. From long-form melodramas to compact, premium series, GoQuest’s offerings cater to a wide spectrum of viewership preferences.
