With a large group of key industry personalities such as Pierluigi Gazzolo, CEO of ViX, Mariano Cesar, Head of Content, General Entertainment Latam & US Hispanic of Warner Bros. Discovery, Pablo Iacoviello, Director of Monetization of Local Originals of Prime Video, the award-winning film producer, Axel Kuschevatzky, winner of an Oscar for The Secret in Their Eyes, among others, Iberseries Platino Industria celebrated a new edition from October 3 to 6 in Matadero Madrid.
The event is once again a neuralgic event for the audiovisual sector, which in this edition is once again organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, with the collaboration of FIPCA and the support of Madrid City Council, Community of Madrid and ICEX Spain Exportation and Investments. In addition, it is sponsored by Madrid Film Office, Film Madrid and the special collaboration of Spain Film Commission.
This year the focus was on co-productions, broadcasters and investment funds, decisive players in the flow of the industry.
More than 1,200 professionals from the film and audiovisual sector confirmed their presence at the largest Ibero-American audiovisual event. Numerous executives and companies participate in the third edition, which continues to constitute a space that seeks to provide visibility to feature films and series in Spanish and Portuguese, enhance the talent of creators, promote international co-production and content marketing as a key formula to strengthen projects and new synergies.
One of the great highlights of this year is the Forum for co-production and financing of serial and cinematographic content. As well as pitch sessions and training workshops, once again betting on the learning of the new professionals of the future by holding training meetings, new technologies and sustainability.
Professionals from Germany, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, Finland, France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay and Venezuela will meet in Madrid in the first days of next October.
