Inter Medya: latest dramas to hit European markets

Inter Medya arrives in Europe to participate in the June markets with an internationalization strategy that involves co-productions with key actors and production companies in the Turkish audiovisual market, offering titles in various formats, from episodic series to 90-minute films.
One of the main titles this season is Eşref Rüya, a drama produced by TIMS&B Productions. Although the exact episode length has not yet been announced, the series stars Çağatay Ulusoy and Demet Özdemir. The story revolves around Eşref, a man who grew up idealizing the memory of a girl he called “Rüya” (dream), as he ascended in the organized crime world. Years later, he meets Nisan, a young musician who turns out to be that figure from his childhood, though she is now undercover as a police informant. The series combines elements of melodrama, crime, and moral dilemmas.
Also from TIMS&B is Valley of Hearts, another drama exploring family conflicts centered on an absent mother and two twin children searching for answers. The plot unfolds in Cappadocia and includes components of revenge, intertwined relationships, and family secrets, with a cast led by Ece Uslu and Hafsanur Sancaktutan.

For its part, Heartstrings is a long-form series (120 episodes of 45 minutes each) produced by Inter Medya itself. In it, two families are affected by a hospital error years ago when two babies were swapped at birth. As the consequences of that mistake come to light, conflicts emerge between the parents, especially between Mahinur, trapped in an oppressive marriage, and Aras, the biological father of one of the girls.
In the realm of romantic cinema, Inter Medya presents two films with a recurring cast: Like There Is No Tomorrow and Chasing the Wind, both 96 minutes long and produced by CB Media & GAIN. Both star Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç, and narrate variations on the relationship between a corporate executive and a young surf instructor on the coast of Çeşme. While the premise is similar, these are different projects aimed at channels and platforms seeking standalone romances with high production values and recognizable settings.
The catalog also includes short-form content such as Just Friends (4 x 35 minutes, EXXEN production) and Mr. Şeref (4 x 35 minutes, EXXEN / Most Production), both within the romantic genre. Just Friends presents a lighthearted story about two roommates who compete to get married first in order to inherit a property, while Mr. Şeref, starring Haluk Bilginer, follows the life of an Albanian chef in Turkey who faces a new beginning full of obstacles and potential romantic encounters.
