Inter Medya will bring a broad selection of Turkish drama and short-form content to MIPCOM 2026, continuing its international expansion across more than 160 countries. Founded in 1992, the Istanbul-based distributor has evolved from a domestic film distribution company into an international content business with activities spanning television series, telenovelas, reality and game shows, as well as production and business development. At MIPCOM, the company will showcase a slate combining new Turkish dramas, established international titles and its growing microdrama offering.

Leading the new drama offering is Sevdam Karadeniz, produced by Mia Yapım. Set against the Black Sea, the series follows Kuzey and Zeyşan, whose lives become intertwined when an unexpected turn of events forces them into a marriage between two rival families. Family secrets, forbidden love and vows of revenge put the couple at the centre of a conflict that has been passed down through generations. The slate also includes Tutsak Sevda (125 x 45-50’), a romantic drama produced by Inter Medya and Rise Studios, in which Deniz assumes the identity of a dying woman’s daughter and becomes involved in a dangerous marriage with Baran Demircihan. The production partnership with Rise Studios combines Inter Medya’s international distribution expertise with the development of new Turkish drama projects.
Two further highlights are Halef, produced by MOST Productions, and Eshref Ruya, from TIMS&B Productions. Halef follows Serhat, a former surgeon who secretly marries the woman he loves before being forced into a second religious marriage as a result of a blood feud, putting him in the position of heir and Agha while living with both women. Meanwhile, Eshref Ruya centres on a powerful mafia figure who has spent years searching for the woman he loved as a child, only to discover that Nisan, the musician he falls for, is both his long-lost Rüya and a police informant. Both titles continue Inter Medya’s focus on stories built around family conflict, power, forbidden relationships and high-stakes personal choices.
The company will also present a diverse selection of dramas and formats, including Heartstrings, a 120 x 45’ family drama built around two girls who were switched at birth; Love and Pride, a drama about a wealthy family facing financial collapse and a marriage arrangement; Downfall, a 10 x 25’ political drama with elements of dark comedy; and Leylifer, a Turkish-Colombian co-production with Caracol Televisión. Alongside these titles, Inter Medya is strengthening its presence in short-form storytelling with Boardroom to Bedroom, its 55-episode microdrama produced in-house, as well as Modern Woman, a 10 x 25’ comedy from GAIN. The company has been expanding its microdrama catalogue and previously launched Boardroom to Bedroom at MIPCOM, where the title generated significant digital engagement and subsequently led to international licensing agreements.
With its MIPCOM 2026 lineup, Inter Medya continues to combine the global distribution of Turkish scripted content with its own production activities and new short-form strategies. The company will be exhibiting at Pavilion C16.C, presenting a catalogue that ranges from premium Turkish dramas and international co-productions to microdramas, reflecting the expansion of its business beyond traditional television distribution.
