In conversation with Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Inter Medya, the executive highlighted how the company continues to consolidate its position as a leader in the distribution of Turkish content, with a great focus on co-productions, including 3 projects in LatAm: with Telemundo for the series Hicran, with Caracol TV for Leylifer, and with MGE with the drama Love and Pride. Additionally, she is advancing new projects that will be announced soon.
According to Cea Okan, they are also expanding their distribution area with new key agreements. Recently, they announced an agreement with GAİN, Turkey’s strong OTT platform, through which they will represent 10 high-budget miniseries. They also distribute content from three streaming service labels in the country TOD TV, BluTV and Puhutv, so the company continues to significantly expand its catalog and its potential in the international market.
Likewise, at the Cannes Film Festival they were showing two films from their production unit Inter Yapim, Saỷara and Dengeler, for exhibition in cinemas. The last one has generated so much interest that a spin-off series is being developed, also for the platform GAİN.
At Natpe Budapest, Content Warsaw, and NEM Dubrovnik, the company presents a diverse slate of dramas and romantic comedies, which includes a mix of established hits and promising new titles.
