LA Virtual Screenings ratifies WAWA and Prensario alliance

The beginning of LA Virtual Screenings last week confirms the good moment the strategic alliance between Prensario International and WAWA is going through. The association has pickeda booth at the marketplace and it has a strong institutional presence in the different portions of the event, which officially concludes on May 20 but will remain opened until June 4.

In a new step if the partnership between the Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association (WAWA) and Prensario International, the entities have agreed to work together since the beginning of the year. At the WAWA Business Forum in March, they co-produced the “Daily Reports”, while its Chairman, Roxana Rotundo, and almost 50 associates, invited Fabricio Ferrara, director of international business, to one of the lunches to talk about the experience in virtual market.

This joint work finally had its correlation at LA Virtual Screenings, where three companies of the association, MetroTV, Spring Media and VIP 2000 TV, participate with a joint stand offering the most diverse content distributed by women to the global market. In addition, the conversationwith Danish producer Camilla Hammerich (The Killing and Borgen), which has been part of “Inspiring Minds” organized by WAWA last April, will premiere on May 19 in the VS Next conference portion.

Metro TV (Colombia) exhibits its varied catalog of feature films, documentaries and animations, and also promotes the Lebanese drama Samra (Sabbah Brothers / Art Cedars Pictures) recently licensed in Venezuela. Spring Media (Sweden) launched the sports fiction series franchise with its first title, The Secret Behind the Cup, whose story takes place within the framework of the Qatar World Cup.

In addition to promoting its extensive catalog of films, soap operas and series, VIP 2000 TV is presenting the exclusive and world premiere documentary We Hear You, a production that addresses the life stories of four women with an invisible disability, hearing loss, a very special project for CEO Rotundo, who has two Cochlear Implants after losing her hearing a few years ago.
