Lionsgate reunió a los buyers del mundo en Santa Mónica

En una de las jornadas más comentadas de los LA Screenings 2026, Lionsgate desplegó una estrategia diferente y de gran impacto para los compradores internacionales. El lunes 18, el estudio organizó primero un screening exclusivo en el Aero Theater y, horas más tarde, una multitudinaria fiesta privada en el emblemático Pier de Santa Mónica, que fue cerrado especialmente para el evento.

Durante la presentación de contenidos, la compañía mostró episodios completos y avances de varias de sus nuevas apuestas. Entre ellas se destacó The Rookie: North, spin-off de The Rookie ambientado en una ciudad del norte de Estados Unidos, que despertó buenos comentarios entre los buyers presentes.

También fueron exhibidas Fight Land, un drama de boxeo con fuerte impronta de acción y violencia; Power: Origins, la precuela de la exitosa franquicia Power, centrada en cómo se construyeron los vínculos entre los personajes principales del universo criminal de la serie; y Private Eyes: West Coast.

Otra de las producciones que llamó la atención fue The Promised Land, definida por algunos compradores como una mezcla entre el humor de The Office y una historia ambientada en tiempos bíblicos, una combinación poco habitual que generó curiosidad en el mercado.

Pero el gran diferencial estuvo en la experiencia alrededor del evento. La fiesta en el Pier de Santa Mónica reunió música en vivo, juegos, comida y atracciones abiertas exclusivamente para invitados internacionales. 

Hal & Harper

Mistletoe Murders

The Newsreader

Drama – 3 Seasons – 18 Episodes, 60 Minutes

Plum

Peter “The Plum” Lum is a rugby league national treasure. The Rookie
