Being one of the titles of its recent partnership with the Chilean MGE, Love and Pride, is parte of the dramas that Inter Medya highlights at MIPTV 2024. The series produced also with Yeşil Yapım, directed by Murat Şenoy, has a cast of such young people, and revolves around a passionate story of love triangles and internal family conflicts.
After being announced at the beginning of the year in Content Americas, Love & Pride became the other project that Inter Medya is developing in Latin America. With this alliance, the company already has several projects in co-production with Latin companies, such as Telemundo and Caracol TV.
Another of the titles they present on the market is Deception, whose second season was ordered last October from aTV, and with which they plan to continue the success achieved with the first installment. The series follows Güzide Yenersoy, a respected family court judge in Istanbul, who appears to have a perfect life with her husband, Tarık, and their two children. However, hidden secrets begin to unravel, shattering the facade of their seemingly ideal family.
Other titles present are: the first co-production of the recent alliance with Caracol TV (Colombia), Leyfer. The series was the company’s highlight in the markets of the last quarter of 2023, and is also found in its catalog. The melodrama was described by Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and director of sales and acquisitions, as a ‘classic drama’ for its narrative and characters, and is presented for the first time in the Latin market to market buyers.
‘Leylifer represents for us the first of many projects with one of the most important companies in Latin America and whom I respect a lot for their dedicated work and intelligent presence in global markets,’ the executive added.
The series was filmed in Turkey and tells the story of Meryem, a Colombian girl established in Spain whose life takes a turn when, on a trip to Istanbul, her husband suddenly disappears. The 120-episode series includes a Latin and Turkish cast, such as Cuban-American actress Camila Duarte, and actors Can Verel and Pervin Balci.
