The company lead in Budapest by Özlem Özsümbül, head of sales, launched three new summer series Love On Duty, Tozluyaka and Ah Nerede, as well as two new dramas Our Father and Twisted Affairs. The company also introduced its new sales manager for CIS, Baltics, Africa, Asia, Salmi Galmarova.
Produced by 10.ev for Star, Ah Nerede features three brothers whose family sent them to Istanbul to pursue their education but who ended up following their own passions. Ömer is supposed to be studying engineering but instead spends his evenings as a musician performing in bars. Middle son Murat is a compulsive gambler who should be studying law. And eldest son Ferit is a would-be medical student who chases women day and night.
At Love on Duty, produced by No Dokuz Productions for FOX, Naz has recently graduated from the police academy; she lives with her overprotective mother and her uncle. The police department decides to use Naz and Pamir, who is a crazy and lively police officer, as undercovers to catch the mafia leader TarıkKoşuoğlu.Pamir and Naz are going to move across the street from the mafia family as a newlywed couple. They are going to gain TarıkKoşuoğlu’s trust and bring him to justice.
The last summer series is Tozluyaka with four young people who are more than siblings and are trying to live in their own happy world: it tells the story of Ali, Vefa, Zeyno and Arap… their ordinary life, which is in its normal course, turns upside down with the death of Vefa, the most precious of them. It is said that Vefa committed suicide but the three of them think that he was murdered; and they are not wrong. It was produced by NTC Medya for FOX.
On the drama side, Ay Yapim’s Our Father for Show TV is a bold story: a reversal of fortune takes one family from a small town to a mansion. EminSaruhanli is the patriarch of a crowded family living together in a small town in Izmir. Proud and hard as nails, he rules his family by a rigid moral code. He even let his son go to jail for an internal family dispute rather than speak up for him with the police.
At Twisted Affairs, produced by Medyapim for FOX, Neslihan’s life looks wonderful and enviable from the outside. While she believes in this illusion and thinks that she’s living a perfect life, she learns that the person she trusts most in life, her husband, has been cheating on her for a long time. And that’s a girl who she considered a sister. Her confidence is destroyed and Neslihan has to question the sense of right and wrong, good and bad all over again.
