CEE: Max arrives in Poland with three subscription levels available

On June 11, 2024, Max, the rebooted streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery, will make its debut in Poland, with three subscription tiers available, starting at PLN 19.99 per month for the basic tier.

Max will feature content from HBO, Warner Bros. and locally based TVN. Each of the three basic packages will be upgradeable with an additional ‘TV & Sports Channels’ package to gain access to an extensive library of up to 29 TV channels and live sporting events.

The basic package, starting at PLN 19.99 per month, is also available for PLN 199 per year. It offers Full HD quality, including the linear channel TVN HD. Two simultaneous transmissions can be used. The standard package costs 29.99 PLN per month or 299 PLN per year. From this level on demand content is ad-free and access is granted to the linear channels HBO, HBO 2, HBO 3 and TVN HD. The Premium package costs PLN 49.99 per month or PLN 499 per year. New to this option is Dolby Atmos sound, which is now available on selected titles and can be downloaded up to 100 pieces.

Any basic package has an add-on available for PLN 20 per month. The TV and sports channel add-on package adds 25 live channels: TVN24, TVN24 BiS, CNN, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, TVN 7, TTV, METRO, TVN Style, TVN Turbo, TVN Fabula, Warner TV, HGTV, Travel Channel, Food Network, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, ID, TLC, Discovery Channel, Discovery History, Discovery Life, Discovery Science and DTX.

HBO Max users will retain their previous subscription plan, service pricing, features and functionality of the platform. On the day of the Max service launch, HBO Max subscribers will need to download the new app and log into their account to access the new service.

For their part, current users of Player, which along with Max is part of Warner Bros. Discovery‘s streaming portfolio, will have the opportunity to take advantage of a special promotion.
